Leatherwood was organized in 1871 by Rev. A.J. Boother through permission and as a branch of Harmony Baptist Church. As we approach 140 years of serving Christ, we rejoice in what Christ has done, what He is doing now, and what He will do in the future through Leatherwood Missionary Baptist Church!
